Helping Kids Build Confidence, Focus, and Discipline

Our kids jiu jitsu program in Fort Worth is designed to give children a positive outlet for energy while developing real confidence, focus, and life skills.

In addition to physical skills, we emphasize respect, listening, and consistency.

Kids learn how to follow directions, work with others, and stay focused—skills that carry over into school and everyday life.

Is Jiu Jitsu Right for Your Child?

This program is a great fit for kids who:

✅ Have a lot of energy

✅ Need help with focus or confidence

✅ Want to make friends and stay active

Whether your child is shy or outgoing, we meet them where they are and help them grow from there.

Safe, Beginner-Friendly Training

Safety is always our top priority.

Kids are taught proper technique and control from day one, and classes are closely supervised at all times. In addition to jiu jitsu, we also focus on teaching kids how to listen, follow directions, and work with others.

Our approach to teaching kids is structured, patient, and age-appropriate. We prioritize helping children understand what they’re learning rather than just going through the motions.

Classes are designed to keep kids engaged while building real skills over time, without overwhelming them. Every child progresses at their own pace in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Many kids come in shy or unsure and quickly become more confident and engaged. They build friendships, stay active, and develop skills that benefit them far beyond the mat.

What Kids Learn Through Jiu Jitsu

Children are like sponges. They absorb things quickly and easily – far more easily than we do as adults. In fact, parents can sometimes see a difference in their kids after just one martial arts class. Each additional class they attend increases their knowledge and growth.

Not only are they getting healthier as they learn martial arts, but they’re also learning the value of self-discipline and respect. When you enroll your child in a martial arts class, you’re giving them much more than the physical skills we teach. You’re giving them the opportunity to thrive.

With every class, your child will gain more:

  • Confidence — Kids gain confidence as they learn new skills and overcome challenges.
  • Focus — Training helps improve attention and listening skills, which carry over into school.
  • Discipline — We reinforce respect, consistency, and positive habits.

Isaiah - Kids Jiu Jitsu Co-Instructor

I’m Isaiah, currently a Black Belt, and I’ve been training in Jiu Jitsu under Kyle Raemisch for 8 years. Jiu Jitsu has significantly changed my life for the better and has taught me to be a more humble person. I’ve been co-teaching the Kids’ Classes here at Frequency for 6 years. Teaching isn’t something I thought I would be doing, but it quickly became a newfound passion of mine. To be able to lead a group of amazing kids into a bright and humble future is a blessing. When I’m not working, teaching, or training, I love to travel, hike, and camp.
